It is not a hot chili, but just a nice, pleasant meal that even children enjoy. I like it best over a bowl of Fritos and sprinkled with cheese. (Since I have 9 children, this is scaled up to feed 11 people)
| 2 | cans | beans | 
| 4 | pounds | hamburger | 
| 2 | Onions diced | |
| 1⁄2 | teaspoons | cumin | 
| 2 | cans | tomato sauce | 
| 1 | Sweet pepper diced (ok, she didn't put sweet peppers in it. I like the extra crunch. I also enjoy dumping in a can of corn) | |
| 1 | Teaspoon | garlic | 
| 1 | Tablespoons | Chili Powder | 
| 1 | Teaspoon | sage | 
| 1 | Tablespoons | salt | 
| 1 | Teaspoon | Black Pepper | 
Brown the hamburger, and drain. Add everything else and heat to a boil. Serve.
Now, second day chili tastes even better, since the flavors have a chance to blend. But it seldom makes to to the second day around here.
