Grandma Elsie's Chili

This is one of my Grandma's most popular recipes. I always get rave reviews when I make this.
It is not a hot chili, but just a nice, pleasant meal that even children enjoy. I like it best over a bowl of Fritos and sprinkled with cheese. (Since I have 9 children, this is scaled up to feed 11 people)

2cansbeans
4poundshamburger
2Onions   diced
12teaspoonscumin
2canstomato sauce
1Sweet pepper   diced (ok, she didn't put sweet peppers in it. I like the extra crunch. I also enjoy dumping in a can of corn)
1Teaspoongarlic
1TablespoonsChili Powder
1Teaspoonsage
1Tablespoonssalt
1TeaspoonBlack Pepper
Brown the hamburger, and drain. Add everything else and heat to a boil. Serve.

Now, second day chili tastes even better, since the flavors have a chance to blend. But it seldom makes to to the second day around here.
